Laura Cortinovis
Laura Cortinovis, illustrator in love with colors.
In my Blu_lab in the beautiful Bergamo, I create worlds and characters with the watercolor technique which represents for me the easiest way to make dreams visible.
I paint and I'm happy!
Watercolor painting is the channel through which I feel myself, it is my refuge from the world, it is the most beautiful way I know to tell and tell myself, to transform poetry into images.
Laura attended courses organized by the Sarmede International School of Illustration and other organizations in the sector.
She published as an author and illustrator, in 2013, the children's story ""From the meadow to the sky"" (Edizioni Sestante), in 2016, ""There are trees, there is you"" (Il Ciliegio Edizioni) and in 2018 ""Journey in colors. A notebook to discover and experience them ""(ed. Il Melograno).
She works as a freelance for Italian publishing houses and brands. Since 2016 she has held workshops for adults on the watercolor technique in various Italian cities.
What do you love about Borciani e Bonazzi brushes?
Among Borciani e Bonazzi brushes I love the UNICO lines for the durability of the bristles and for the high precision of the tips and the ITALIA line for how product quality and design care are combined together.
Overall I find them all products of the highest quality, the bristles have a water retention capacity which is fundamental for the watercolor technique.
