Gianna Zanafredi

She was born in Casalmaggiore (CR).
She graduated from the sociology faculty of Trento in 1973. In 2001 she graduated from the art institute 'P. Toschi ’of Parma, the city where she lives and works in her studio located in Borgo del Parmigianino.
Since 1999 she has exhibited in the main Italian cities.
In 2009 the first exhibition abroad, in Paris, at the C. Peugeot Cultural Center and the following year in Prague, at the Italian Cultural Institute.
She says of herself: "I am very reserved, I don't like letting know about me, nor do I love knowing the things that can be said about me. I really like hearing people's stories, the stories of their lives, all things that don't concern me".
