What do you love about Borciani e Bonazzi brushes?

I have first stumbled upon Borciani e Bonazzi brushes during the wonderful watercolour Fabriano in Acquarello festival in May 2019.
I was instantly struck by their high quality – without having even tried them yet I just knew they would be incredible to work with because they felt very solid and neat to touch.
The brush handles always lay comfortably in my hand and the synthetic bristles of the watercolour brushes hold a lot of water and pigment.
The round ones are my favourite because they come to a sharp point but are also versatile and flexible enough to allow for wider stokes and larger washes.
All these qualities make my work seamless because I use a lot of detail and layering in my painting technique.
I just love the Borciani e Bonazzi brushes and I’m so happy I discovered them in their homeland (and one of my most favourite countries) – Italy!
